Patched up the huge speech recognition driver I’ve been writing for two weeks and sent it off for code review, listening to Japanese synth-pop on my new noise-cancelling headphones and I just popped a fucking delicious strawberry cream-filled panda cookie with a picture of a panda playing baseball on it into my mouth. LIFE IS SO OK

I am suppose to get a cheque for roughly $208 a month if I am going to school as part of the agreement with my Canadian Pension Plan. Usually I have to sign a form at the beginning of every semester and get it signed by my school to show CPP that I AM going to school. However, since I’ve been in a summer semester at school I have had to fill out the form even though I informed them in the last form that I would be in school until January and therefore did NOT have to fill out a form telling them I started a new semester. Even though it was a pain, I still filled out the form and had my school sign it and sent it off in September but I NEVER GOT MY PAYMENT FOR THE MONTHS OF OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER! I phoned the CPP and hey informed me that I would be getting my make up cheque for the two months soon and TODAY I GOT A CHEQUE FOR $420! - LIFE IS OK!

Last night I dreamt that me, my cousin and our friend were the Jonas Brothers (I was Joe). I transformed into a pig and hopped onto a rollercoaster that took me to an island occupied by a single building from the Forbidden City. I encountered Robert Knepper having lunch at a beach table and he attacked me with knives and telekinesis. I reverted back into a human and managed to defeat him with some swift dodging, plenty of roundhouse kicks, one jump kick Double Dragon-style and a couple of right hooks. Once he fell, the island began to tremble and break apart. I escaped on a rocket ship and woke up.

Last night while I was at work I was staring out of my window watching the clouds fly by, the sounds of my latest house mix pounding in my headset. Clouds rising 15,000’ above us and all around us, with more energy than a million atom bombs. Flashes of mountains and snow through gaps in the clouds, with lightning so bright it froze expressions on my crews faces like a 10,000W strobe. The turbulence was so intense at times my buttocks would leave the seat for what felt like an eternity. Have you ever dropped 1000’ in 5 seconds, only to be thrown up another 2000’ in another 10 seconds? I have! The ice was building up on the airframe at an incredible rate, ruining our wings aerodynamic efficiency.

This is what I live for, and I loved every second of it.

It’s 0435 on Monday morning and I’ve spent all night editing photographs, doing laundry, and installing my new bedding. It took me nearly half an hour to get my duvet cover on. I know, it’s sad. But as I lie here on my white goose down pillows, my head is so nicely supported and comfortable.

I think I will sleep well tonight…. as long as Melissa doesn’t msn me telling me to capitalize things…

we have joined the reward program w/ blockbuster, since there isn’t much to do around during the wk. from mon. to wed. you can take out any movies, and get the 2nd one for free.
along to the last 3 times we had visited, they gave us all these $1.99 coupon to rent any movies until the 31st of sept. w/ that said, we have used the coupon only mon. to wed. in order to get a 2nd movie for free w/ the price of $1.99 + tax.

now, that’s a deal i reckon. LIFE IS OKAY.
